Yesterday I did Caterham to East Croydon - walk/pint in the George - and touched in at West Croydon about 40 minutes after exiting East Croydon, to travel onwards to Epsom.
It got me wondering if this would count as an OOS interchange. And if I had got a tram around the loop, would touching in...
It's fine now, but the thread made me think about Rugby station in the 1990s when the platform buildings looked like a dilapidated ball-bearings factory...
Much was made of this when the station opened, but in reality the service to and from Coventry Arena is entirely useable on matchdays - e.g. for supporters like me coming up from the South via Nuneaton.
There is a train that gets to the Ricoh at, I think, 14:27 which is ideal for kick-off, and...

It's the getting from *specific starting point in the South East* to Euston and then getting from Birmingham New Street to *specific destination in the West...
It was a few years ago that I used this part of the station - IIRC, the ramps led down to an intermediate concourse level, with exits to the bus station, or to the front of the main station (I think there was also a walkway if you turned left going back towards the river downstream).
I would...
