Well given the state of the one on the 777s, someone has dropped a ball. Whoever is responsible looks to have given up.

Who's responsible for the PIS, do Merseyrail control it or Merseytravel. It's never really been right, some TV screens don't work, announcements are wrong. Although the times are there on the trains I get on, they seem to show red now.

They aren't though, the selective door stuff is on Merseytravel and Stadler. If it's not working then Merseyrail can't use it, thus can't train drivers. They wouldn't choose to not stop at stations, or leave passengers behind on the Chester lines for that matter. Pretty sure if Merseyrail could...

If there is a points failure there isn't much Merseyrail can do.

Because they contractually probably can't say anything. They have no choice but to work with what they have, they can't exactly say we have the worst trains whilst The Mayor is saying they are the best thing ever.
