    For all the criticism on here, EY must be doing something right on their York routes - they've reported a 10.8% increase in passenger numbers on the X45/X46/X47 group over the past year, and 8.8% on their York routes generally. That kind of increase certainly helps justify investment...

    Presumably the ones in store will be the rest of 22 BYD B12s that were on order - the five for Shuttle work were the first of the 27 funded in total. If some are near Heathrow, that would suggest BYD's premises, which as I recall are in Iver.

    I wonder if they are going to bolster the Rail Replacement fleet? There's going to be a lot of RR work with the Transpennine Upgrade for months to come. (Also, good point - I had missed that it wasn't the Airport examples going to YP. I blame the heat!)

    The Scanias were replaced by the Yutongs on the A1, so have been surplus for a few weeks. They appear to be being split between First Essex (to standardise most of the Essex Airlink services on the type, as they already have eight of them) and York Pullman.
