Our new ticketing site is now live! Using either this or the original site (both powered by TrainSplit) helps support the running of the forum with every ticket purchase! Find out more and ask any questions/give us feedback in this thread!
I also see this as being the intention of the EMT statement although it needs clarifying. I think the intention is basically to make people aware that if the guard walks past then "The guard didn't ask me if I wanted a ticket" isn't a valid excuse.
I'm an IT admin and we regularly remind our users to be careful about attachments, and of the relevant policies, but we still get users opening problematic attachments.
Did anyone else thinking that showing him standing on the track wasn't a good idea (at the YTA hostel stop)? There probably isn't anything else coming on that line but it wouldn't surprise me if someone copies the idea on a busier line.
Will any of the additional units, in December, be used to improve the frequency of the services north of Bicester? My commute is Leamington-Warwick and the evening peak time frequency has dropped to an hour or longer.
There are some that are Warwick Parkway only but it's not practical to...
I've had that problem as well, at least once, twice I think. Also had a bus driver tell me he was going to my station and then skip it. He clearly didn't have a clue there are two different stations in that area. I ended up stranded at about 9:30pm in the winter and had to ring for a lift. Not...

Firstly the only reason I haven't also embedded BaldRick's message in the quote is because I don't know how to.
I 100% agree with you both. I work in IT and it's exactly the same, you work long hours to fix what you can and all that happens is that:

1. If getting caught caused the attack then that's not the RPI's fault. If the RPI caused it by dealing with the issuing of the ticket in an incorrect manner then that would be of concern just as it would be with anyone else...
I think this is true. I commute every weekday (and do have a ticket) and the only thing I was aware of is a penalty fare. I thought prosecution was just for those caught repeatedly or clearly trying to avoid being checked.
I can see the mind set of "I'm late, I normally buy a ticket so if...
