They should look at a new Taithcymru coach service from Swansea to Abergavenny via Merthyr Tydfil to link communities along the heads of the valleys

Only pyle gets a Sunday service out of the swanline stations and infact probably getts a better service than it does on weekdays. I do think a sunday service is needed on swanline

They've changed their minds again. Read that the plan now is all the Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare services will do as they do now and loop round the city either via Cathays or city line so both routes get 4tph to Cardiff Central. Meanwhile Treherbert gets 4tph to Cardiff Bay

Im sure i read somewhere that tfw said that a 756 can run Cardiff to Bridgend and back on batterie power without the generator kicking in.

Maybe look at extending the Ebbw Vale to Newport trains up to Abergavenny if they reopen that bay platform and turnback facility
