The answer i came up with was the emergency protection method which involves four things ie clips, dets, red flag, call the signaller. All though they are four things is it four things within one method? But it got me thinking would the four methods be; emergency protection, emergency button...

Currently do my rules and regulations training and trying to answer the above question which says: What are the four methods of carrying out protection (I.e stopping a train) I think I know the answer but was just wondering what everyone else thought. cheers in advance.

Just an update for you all. Had a call last week telling me someone had dropped out of the course starting at the end of march and they wanted me to come on it instead. Got my medical on the 17th. Again very sort notice but very happy to be offered a job!

I had my interview today and passed!! Very happy however they couldn't get me on the March course so Im also in the talent pool until a new course start. I did ask when and she hinted at this year but couldn't give a definitive answer so just got to wait now!

I had my interview today and was told that there is a course starting on the 31st March and maybe another later one this year but couldn't tell me when. They also said they will be letting me knoe today if I have assed or not.

Cheers everyone! Thats interesting, going wondering about hoursht to full wage I would of thought there would of been a training wage! My next question is if anyone kniws the shift pattern EMT works for depot drivers. I've read that it will be mostly nights which is fine but was wondering...

Has anyone who sat their stage one last week heard anything yet? I'm probably jumping the gun a bit just desperate to find out how I did!!
