I am pretty sure it's a person, that fella I spoke to told me the person dealing with the applications was on leave so he had to fill in and admitted he didn't know who's been contacted or hasn't
Cheers Beeks, very helpful that pal.
Congrats by the way.
Dials test I am aware of and now thinking about it SIM =simulator doh!
I just got of the phone to the chap at Metrolink to explain I can't make Mondays assessment, he just said no problem I'll add you to the next one.

Thanks Beeks, may I ask how long ago was that? Couple of other questions If you don't mind, what is a valves and SIM test not heard about those but aware of all the other stuff you mentioned.
Did you pass by the way?
Thanks, been practising the dots test with the free software on this site :| back to the drawing board!

Does anyone know what tests Metrolink do? is it the dots or shapes - both?
I read someone got 17 right on something when the pass rate was 18, can anyone tell me what that 'something' was? ie what test??
Thanks.
Friend of mine gave me a spare form he had, filled that in and that was it.
He went to the assessment and failed 'on site' there so he got past the application stage to be fair to him!
I have been reading a few old threads on here like this one...
Yes, around two/three weeks ago.
I didn't expect anything back to be honest even though I read they reply one way or the other to let you know within 7 days but as it's getting on for nearly three weeks I just thought that's that!
A friend of mine failed at the first hurdle, does anyone...

Good question! Friend of mine applied a few weeks back but failed at the first hurdle! I applied a few weeks back - after he told me and now just got a response so in answer to your question, not sure!

Thanks for the reply shredder1.
Wow, thats harsh got me thinking twice now about this one as I'm not the best in interviews although once in a job like currently I like to think I'm ok.
I do have a slight problem though in attending the first induction or what ever they call it as they...
Morning Ladies n Gents.
I have put in for a job with Metrolink in my home city of Manchester after getting a little fed up in my current job after 20 years service.
I was just wondering If any one has any advice at all? Anything really as I am completely new to all this.
Thanks.
