Network Rail have just tweeted that the line from Harlech to Pwllheli will be open to engineers trains from 18th August. Looks like the whole saga is finally coming to an end.

The line closed in early November to trains. This photo was posted on Facebook on the official Pont Briwet development page and shows the most recent progress from a couple of days ago.

http://shrewsburyaberystwythrailway.org/?page_id=624 If you scroll down to item 10 here it states that the line to Pwllheli will be open again from July. This is taken from the Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth Railway Liaison Committee website so should carry some weight.
