Object caught in the overheads at Wakefield.

I think the peak diagram is 2x round trips Monday - Friday, Amersfoot Centraal - Barneveld-Zuid, in the morning only; as far as I know, it doesn't run to Ede-Wageningen. It's run today on the normal diagram (a pictogram of the allocated traction type is shown on the NS app, on the day itself)...

There isn't a guaranteed time for it to become available. Generally the aim is for the comms to be available by 2200 at the latest; but with disruption of the level of today, that isn't always possible.

Too soon to tell, until the set balancing and crew (un)availability tomorrow is confirmed!

The class 242 locos in Czech are still clinging on; despite their last day on passenger work supposedly being the end of June, there's only been four days this month where one hasn't worked (though usually only one, on a given day). 242213 was in traffic today, photo attached.

There are some loco-hauled GO Transit rail services which start / terminate at Niagara. There's a regular bus (every 30 minutes, most of the day) from the railway station to the Falls.

'A good 6 hours'... between (say) 2300 and 0500? Spare staff are rarely available at those times to move units 'as required', as they're not when services are planned to run.... spare staff are placed where they can best assist the planned service, if (a normal level of) disruption means...

They weren't temporarily withdrawn, per se. The 225 group post has been amended accordingly. What did happen is several sets became unavailable due to heat-related a/c faults or other issues, so those were (and when needed, still are being) replaced with Azumas where available, or services...
