A friend sent me this Japanese advert, which was filmed in the Jubilee Line platforms at Charing Cross. I can't for the life of me identify the type of tube stock that rolls through:

Any ideas?

Closest current one is now a TK Max. The one where I used to live became a Woolco and then a Wal-Mart, but that was an entirely different country, altogether.
I was on the 1727 from Windsor, and I have to say I'm generally very impressed. Nice smooth, clean and quiet ride. I do slightly prefer the carpeted floors of the 450s but that is a minor thing.
I do notice two slightly different types of seats - in the "mini-compartments" at the extreme...
Just last night I was at Edgware Road tube station looking for a District line train to Wimbledon. The platform signs said the S7 train at platform three was it, but the onboard signs said Circle via Moorgate. I got on it anyway, only to be told to get off - it's going out of service. Ten...
My list is pretty boring:
Bakerloo: All
Central: All
Circle: All
District: All, including a spontaneous trip to Kensignton Olympia.
Hammersmith & City: All
Jubilee: All
Metropolitan: All
Northern: All, except South Wimbledon - Morden and the Mill Hill East spur, but including the...
There's the remains of an old platform south of Wimbledon station on the up slow line. It's well before the current station, just before the line goes under the road bridge/car park. Is this a remnant of the original Wimbledon station - which I understand was not in the same location as the...
Then I sincerely hope there's a refurb plan in place! Comparing the Piccadilly to the Bakerloo I can't believe they're virtually the same age. Would be a shame if they got rid of the transverse seating though.
Just thought I'd note that at least two trains of S7 stock appeared on the Wimbleware service for the first time today - or at least the first time I've seen them. Trains of C stock were parked in the sidings at Parson's Green and the triangle, where they aren't normally during service. I...
In retrospect I must have been on this unit yesterday too. I noticed the shininess of it as I boarded and I definitely noticed some of the seat covers were new (and some very evidently weren't) but all together it wasn't enough of a difference to make me twig that it was a referb. Didn't...
The reversing loop at Kennington is supposedly haunted. I've been round it on a special excursion of the 1938 stock but didn't experience anything unusual.
