    The 'fraud letters' process

That’s what I’m talking about if they had CCTV of someone using the tickets from a data trawl, to prove whether it was the account holder they’d need a picture of them to match it to, which is impossible unless perhaps they could obtain an online season ticket photo or railcard photo. Even if...

    The 'fraud letters' process

For cases that are purely caught in the act or lead to being caught in the act then the answer I would imagine is 100% yes. If most of the historic data trawl is outside the typically 30? day CCTV window before it’s wiped then they’d have to pull the CCTV for journeys within the 30 day period...

    Greater Anglia fraud email investigation

If you confess they hold all the cards and can demand whatever they feel is reasonable that’s why. So unless you want to hand over a wad of cash determined by the train company , don’t respond and buy the correct tickets.

    Greater Anglia fraud email investigation

Don’t say another word to them as they don’t have proof it was you without catching you in person (or a confession) and are highly unlikely to take you to court. Start buying the correct tickets immediately.

    Greater Anglia Fraud Investigation

They are unlikely to escalate it anywhere if they have no evidence it was you who used the tickets. At the moment if there’s scan data they know someone used it but not who. They are just looking for you to drop yourself in it and hand them a wad of cash. If you want to do this then go right...

    Centrebus group

Centrebus have posted the same post on all their Facebook pages. According to the public award document it is actually D&G who won the 64 , 301 and 558 tenders. Bus Service Review 2026 details

SWR Class 458/4s: fleet status and withdrawal updates

    D&G Buses

Cheshire East Council did a network review in 2024 and D&G appear to do regular reviews of their services (often in conjunction with councils who fund many of their services to some degree) such as the ones mentioned on this thread on 30th March and 13th April. I also recall a D&G review in...

    Kent Rover becoming online only

If you buy one and get it posted but it doesn’t arrive until after the validity date(s) I imagine it will be very difficult to get a refund after the refund changes take place.

    ENCTS and paper receipts

Why would there be a reduction in recorded journeys? If passengers are presenting their passes and the ticket machine is correctly accepting it.

Paper travelcard with Network Railcard discount

You can indeed, I’ve bought tickets with my disabled railcard at Euston Square tube station in the last few months.

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

Just seen on Facebook / Bustimes that the 87 is getting extended from Chorlton to Stretford from the end of the month.

    D&G Buses

The problem is it takes too long to get from Macclesfield to the Airport by bus. The train takes roughly 45 minutes subject to connections and stopping patterns. With all that padding that will arise in January , it’s just not attractive enough and the lack of buses outside 8-5 too.

    D&G Buses

I can see why they would want to drop Manchester Airport from the route to increase the layover / punctuality / reliability on the service and have also seen the very low usage on the 130 to the Airport but it is a shame that Cheshire East will be down to one rail service and no buses serving...

    D&G Buses

As anticipated the new No 10 Weston - Bollington bus registration has appeared on bustimes , although surprisingly it states that there is no subsidy for the new service from Cheshire East Council. This seems surprising given the addition of a Sunday service and the service being billed as a...
