Back in July when leaving Crewe on a pair of 730/2s there was an announcement from the guard when we were pulling out of the station stating that large cases shouldn't be put in the overhead racks instead in the racks at the ends of the carriage due to instances in the past of the trains...

It seems The Railway Magazine has started to do something similar called "AI Watch" which shows an image found online that is seen to be completely unrealistic.

I am interested in why 170270 has been OOU since October last year and also where are EMR hiding it cause I haven't seen it at either Nottingham Eastcroft or Derby Etches Park unless its permanently parked in a shed at either of the depots?

There is currently a wheel lathe being built at Clacton depot for the Greater Anglia fleet.

745106 was involved with a one under at Meridian Water back in March, the unit is long termed stopped pending repairs to the cab and parts that have been robbed from it have been replaced.

Posted today on LinkedIn from Crewe which means it should hopefully be back in traffic very shortly. I wonder which will go next as it seems rather odd that 170112-170117 have been done, 170111 has been missed out and they have gone back to doing the 3 carriage 170s again.
