Be really disappointed if they manage to find extra carriages for the Northumberland Line when weekends on the Durham Coast Line is like being packed in like sardines.

From what I read a lot of the supporters gambled and got on the next LNER service despite no ticket acceptance.
You’d really like to think some common sense was applied in this situation…
I think people are frustrated given that extra trains were announced and then on the day they can’t run due to train faults. Surely the likelihood of five trains suffering faults right before they depart on exactly the same route is pretty slim. Much more likely to be a crewing issue?
