Back at NTR, 2Q88 made its third appearance, again the split-headcode loco leading.

With time to spare we headed to a footbridge near Northallerton station and saw 66188 with a southbound coal.

The last stop was Northallerton station. A north-bound GC HST passed through prior to the test train.

Then we drove to a trackside location were we saw it - 37087 leading - after it reversed at Harrogate.

The first sighting of 2Q88 was as it pulled out over Knaresborough viaduct.
