The timings I posted of Saturday morning are from the latest amendment of the Special Trains Notice, direct from the source.

I should hope so. We want our EDs back. (They're actually heading back south on Monday from Derby)

It seems the EDs returned to Derby from Wigan this afternoon as 1Z73.

It was reported that 73138 failed last night so perhaps the move was cancelled or maybe all moves put back another night? The grapevine states it could be 31+37 top and tail in place of the ED's for the Blackpool and Colne visits.

Not sure if it was loco failure but the locos and stock were back at Derby around 17:30 yesterday afternoon having left Springs Branch just before 15:00. I suppose a failure could have occured the previous night or yesterday morning.

I've just realised, after looking at the timings again, the train wasn't scheduled to visit Manchester Airport last night/early this morning. It's booked to go there tonight/early tommorrow morning, according to the timings posted in this thread.

37604 reported to be on tonight's outing to Colne and Blackpool's North and South. Tail loco, not sure.

I have no idea what happened to the train last night. It was reported 2 hours late leaving Preston for what should have been Hebden Bridge (I think?) and the Colne trip was apparently cancelled due to lack of route knowledge bod! Whether it made it to Blackpool South (or North!) or not is a mystery to me as I gave up after a mate of mine told me that the train's schedule had collapsed! I wasn't prepared to deck chair on SAS in the strong winds and driving rain for a train that might not have possibly have turned up anyway! So whether it did not not, I thought 'sod it, I'm off to bed!'
