I'm pretty sure this has been generated from the satellite images.

Have a look at Brighton and particularly the line to Hove. At Brighton itself the lines are cut off at the start of the train shed. Pay particular attention to platform 8 (far east) which has a shorter train shed and therefore more line is shown on the map. If these were from an official source then I'd expect all lines to go up to the buffer stops.

Also look at where is goes from three to two tracks towards Hove. The location seems to have been chosen because it goes under a bridge, rather than being accurate.

And look at Edinburgh Waverley; there are no bays, all the lines continue right through the concourse.

Just had a look at Aylesbury. Certainly more detail. Some is right, some is very wrong. The depot has been reduced from 6 to 4 roads and there is a strange double loop arrangement replacing platform 1 and the Branch Siding.

Akeman Street is still showing as connected.

The route between Calvert and Bletchley shows, interestingly the "gap" is showing (from memory) in the correct place.

The Bicester Military Railway looks interesting, as does the site at Gaydon.

Look at scunthorpe, apparently there is 21 roads just by the station! On the satellite you can see the foundations of where this may have been...unless my brain has floated away though, this was ripped up ages ago!

Doesn't have to be Quail, might just be from the Sectional Appendices which are freely available (or at least they were when I stumbled into them on the Network Rail website).

Could I have the link to the Sectional Appendix on the NR website - causeI canot find them!

And am pleased to see the second track has been relayed between Cromford and Matlock Rail Station, connecting into Peak Rail's track. Is this a Peak Rail extension to Cromford or a dynamic loop for East Midland train?

Google maps is amazing these days - been geotagging some photos from Romania and the small town up in the mountains had footpaths over the mountains and street-view car shots on the near-by roads.

I wonder if they will ever get Street-view on the railway lines? They must be taking similar shots on the measurement train.

They've got into a bit of a mess along Broadholme too.
The EVR doesnt seem to feature at all.

Just noticed that despite all the detail of small waterways, drainage channels and other irrigation features, Yorkshire's River Aire is entirely missing!

The Power stations, bridges and its largest city, Leeds, are there in all their detail - but not the river! I bet that gets fixed very soon!
