Scotrail 380's Glasgow Ayr line

I have noticed since the introduction of the 380's that they now seem to stop right at the end of the platforms (even if its a 4 car unit) so making punters walk the length of the platform out of the shelters etc. Irvine station a good example.

I cannot fathom why this is done other than Scotrail wanting to heap more misery onto its passengers

It's all part of a cunning plan devised by none other then Baldrick from TV's Blackadder , if all the trains stop in the same place regardless of length then it will reduce the risks of drivers stopping short and thus prevent accidents to befall the passengers both fare paying and the freeloaders (sorry fare dodgers).

Probably one of the best ones the Baldricks have ever came up with.....
