Just wondered if rail travel vouchers can be bought as a gift or whether they're just a compensation method from the TOCs.

I'm not aware that they can be bought as a gift, but you can often find them on eBay.

Not that we recommend buying them off of eBay as strictly they are not transferable ;)

I think that has been adequately covered in a previous topic.

Our views are different. I suppose its never going to be enforced, nor really, at the point of sale, enforceable; as you say. However the RTV's themselves say they are not transferable (at least all that I've had). Its a risky way of doing things... Yorkie, I may PM you :smile:
