Thanks for the transferred AXL400 lists, now I know which to look out for. Though they do blend in with the non branded ex Chorley examples Preston already has.

Solo 47673 has been repainted, loosing its "Network Ribble Valley" branding.

Fleetcard shows them all as Preston.

So I see, what I was trying to say was that at time time 18359/64 were still rumoured to be stored at Morecambe.

Interesting that 16185 has made it back to Kendal to replace 14199 - not sure how that works. It's not long since 14199 was painted either...

20913 is alive and kicking, was on 22 this afternoon.

17017 on short 302 again today, sounds quite smooth but it is as slow as ****!

Sampled the X60/X61 today for the first time since Chorley took over. 0640 from Preston produced 16652 and I can honestly say that I have never heard a Volvo Olympian make such weird noises. I have driven many, many of these vehicles [and Leylands] but have never heard one making a sound as if all the air was blowing out after each gear change - it was extremely loud. Once through the gears it still sounded as though there was air leaking somewhere, but there was no pinging sound coming from the cab to say there was a fault.

From a passenger point of view, it was not very warm on the upper deck and it seemed a bit slow on the motorway.

By contrast, I came back on 16651. Fast, warm and running really well - much more enjoyable.

The other vehicles on the route today were 20793 & 34680.

16652/3/4 all done it on 300, 16651 was the only one that didn't. 16447 and 16734 also do it, I think 16733 does too but not as loud as the others.
As a passenger, I always found 16651 the best, but drivers seemed to prefer 16652.

No, the demo period of 6 weeks at Gillmoss is up. Maybe it's with another Merseytravel operator? (I think Merseytravel paid for some of the cost of the refuelling point at GM?!)

47753 worked a 30 into Workington from Whitehaven, spotted on Mossbay Road at 17:30. It worked out through to Maryport on 17:35 from Workington BS.

They were new to East London, which covers Barking, Bow, Leyton, Romford, West Ham depots.

When I lived in Orpington, I think that Tridents were used on the 108 which, at that time ran between Orpington and Catford. I wonder if any of those have made the journey up North?

Well as we know there's S-BWC Tridents dotted around the country, mainly NW and Devon.
The next batch I believe were T-KPU, which have also made it out to a fair number of provincial operations, though a decent number were sold.

Beyond T reg you're getting into V/W/X reg, which are still in London and only recently started coming out/ being sold.

Secondly is the fact that London is a separate business unit to UK Bus. Therefore technically vehicles have to be offered to outside parties (eg. Ensign) as well as the rest of Stagecoach. If Ensign put in a higher bid, they get the bus.
