London to Reading: Off Peak Day Return restriction request

What time can i travel to Reading tomorrow off peak? It says it is £16.00 day return and the first train i can get isaround 0920 is this correct? What about coming back can i travel back anytime? I should be leaving Reading around 3pm?

Unfortunatly we do need to know where you are traveling from and what type of ticket you hold I.e. off peak day return or off peak return without the 'day' bit (there are others)

Restrictions don't apply to a perticuler station but to the ticket so I may have a ticket to Reading from Newbury and the times I can use it are diffrent to if I had a ticket from Inverness, Cardiff or Southampton for example.

Generally between 1600 and 1915 there are restrictions for specific services from London. Very generally it looks as though most HST workings are barred in the eve, but the "local" trains are ok.

By any train except those timed to depart London Paddington or Waterloo before 09:20, and those shown in the table below from London Paddington and Reading:

Outward, you can get any train after 9:20 from Paddington.
On the way back there are no restrictions towards Paddington from Reading

09:30 if an off-peak return (SVR) but 09:20 for an off-peak day return (CDR)
