Engineer's Line References

Rules:

A 3 letter engineer's line reference will be posted, you should state the name of the line it stands for, the start, the end and if more than one route is available you should state the route the line takes. Use 3 letter codes for the entire line and not the sections of it divided by a number. No looking up the code on any website although if you get one correct you may use a website to look up an ELR to set if you can't think of one. No using lines that are now closed or are no longer part of the GB rail network.


An easy one to start with: MLN.

Good, but I'm going to have to dock you a couple points as that's not the current usage of that ELR, which is currently Didcot to a point near the end of the Midland Metro I'm Wolverhampton. The parts to Chester have had different ELRs for donkeys' ears now. :P
