How comprehensive is http://www.tsoshop.co.uk/bookstore.asp?FO=1241783&DI=630249 ?

Do the T+Cs allow use of the data ?

It is used my most contributors to the fares and ticketing forum and contains all point to point fares and restrictions bar the odd omission in error.

No you can't extract the data and create your own engine (it has been thought about in the past but no one could come up with a legal way of doing it so they haven’t) or do anything else with it really due to the copyright.

It has all, if not most, fares that exist on the National Rail network. It is supplied by ATOC who deals with ticketing/routing etc so I think you will be okay to use it, to read, not manipulate etc.

Beaten to it. :(

I do wonder how they would be able to tell.:)
Afterall, the info is effectively public domain.

It depends what you do with it. If you release a program based on the data to find better fares they may suspect what you've done. Unless you've really changed the data structure it may look like you're using their data - if you can prove you've an army of people calling NR and inputing all the fares into your system you're probably fine.
