Manchester Metrolink's new tram order

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) today agreed to order a further 12 of the new M5000 trams in order to replace some of the original and oldest T68 trams that have been in service since the system started in 1992. Contractual affairs will be handled by TfGM on behalf of GMCA.

What my posting on this thread refers to is the involvment of Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), which was not previously referred to in the posting of futureA on the T68 refurb thread.
