Depends on the aircraft!

The leg room is worst on their oldest aircraft, the legroom on the A319s is terrible. It’s better on the newer aircraft* because of the slimline seats, gives at least another 1-2” compared to the older Weber seats on the A319.

(*the A321neo with easyJet and Jet2 is down to 28” pitch, so you have been warned, although the slimline seats mean it’s not quite as bad as it sounds)

Interesting Easyjet 32Q has a different layout from BA - they have Exit Seats at Row 18/19 and Row 29 compared to 16 and 26/27 on BA also notice 40 Rows in total have they crammed more seats in than BA?

Are Easyjet (and other carriers) seats fit for the purpose ?

I say this having just returned from an EDI-BHX round trip in which I was unfortunate enough to lose the seat lottery and be "piggy in the middle" up the back on both legs.

The outward leg wasn't to bad a no one turned up for the window seat so I was able to move across.

The return leg I was between two ladies so could have been worse. It was only 45 minutes from BHX to EDI but I was thinking imagine if I had been in this seat on one of their four or five hour routes. My knees were literally rammed up against the seat in front of me.

I have been spoilt by "Free" Exit Seats on BA.
Was it an A319?

The width of the seats on these is very narrow towards the back. You often get the A319s on the domestic routes.
