Thanks! What a contrast with the sleek, sporty and powerful Reliant Scimitar. ;)
Princess Anne had one of those, you know. :D

A spot from last week, a J reg Citroën BX estate.

The C6 behind is also of note despite being a tad new for this thread.
I believe the owner also has the Jag you can see behind which has the plate XJI 996 misspaced as XJ I996.

Just been passed by a 1977-plate Ford Escort RS2000, roaring, coughing and fuming up a steep hill near the Hope Valley.

Seen this morning, a 1972/3 (L) Bentley T series, followed immediately by a 1980/81 (W) Mercedes 500SL. Both soothed their way past me on the bike.

Two British classics out in the sun this morning, a K-prefix Mini with mock rally style graphics (black circles on doors etc.) and a dark green early Triumph Spitfire on black and silver plates with no year letter (so likely to be 1964 or earlier).

A bit of a "haul" in the space of ten minutes: we passed by a dark-blue Triumph TR4 (or TR4A) and a sand-coloured Rolls Corniche on our way to local Halfords, where we discovered this 1970 MGB Roadster Mk2 & this 1987 Toyota MR2 Mk1.

Saturday mid-morning's dog-walk, a convoy of five TR4 + TR5 + TR6 beauties.passed me. No phone/camera with me, sadly.

Remarkably, this afternoon I have seen the same on the A1 in Cambridgeshire, a 1977 Ford Escort RS2000 in yellow. Looked great in the rear view mirror (where it stayed).

Two Citroën vans, a H van being used as a coffee kiosk, but seemingly still a complete and driveable vehicle, not just a trailer. And a C15? based camper (though seemingly not a Romahome).

Those H vans seem very popular in this role, there always seems to be one or two at our local food festivals. The exterior of this one leaves a lot to be desired, I wonder what the inside is like?

I was driving so no pictures, but we pursued a 1995 Fiat Ulysse for a couple of miles this afternoon. From what we could see she looked in great condition and still a daily runner.

An oldie with a newbie.

Peugeot GTI original and new model which, unlike the original, will break no new ground whatsoever!

Quite new for this thread: a-familiar sight 30 years ago. Audi 100.
1994/L 2.0E Avant, at our local Tesco this evening.
The 100 badge ceased in 1994 and rebadged A6. An L-plate Audi 100 is not a common beastie.

Saw an early, pre-facelift MK1 Pug 106 at the weekend, in a pale metallic green that I'm calling "spearmint" (no idea what the official name is). Looked in very good condition but not quite "concourse". Unfortunately I was driving so couldn't get a picture.

I wonder if there is a company that does them up. There is one inside a crêperie in Toulouse that we go to with the side opening up as a counter and bar.

Not that old but a 53 plate Chrysler PT Cruiser today. Looks like a shoe.
I've always liked those cars. Really stood out from the crowd.

Saw a 1988 MkII Golf GL. Had been resprayed in “primer” grey, but the engine was definitely vintage given what was coming out the exhaust pipe!
