Does anyone know what's happening to the Metropolitan line this morning?

No service at Uxbridge - passengers were being directed to take local busses to Northwood - there was apparently a reduced service on that branch. The staff said the problem was too complicated to explain to passengers...

The Piccadilly line was also suspended at Uxbridge.

They said at 8:50 that "they" were now willing to "send through" a Metropolitan line and a Piccadilly line train to Uxbridge - no sign yet but I assume it's on its way!

Anyone know what the cause of all this is?

The one Metropolitan line train which has made it to Uxbridge pulled in as a Baker Street service - changed destination to Wembley Park sitting in the platform - and has just changed back to Baker Street. We need to get to Aldgate but staff advised us that they wouldn't bank on an Aldgate train being along, so we have boarded this one and we're still waiting to see if it leaves.

It was also reported that there was an incident at Neasden later. Harrow on the hill station staff had to stop people getting onto thr platform as it became overcrowded.

Nothing at Neasden, there was however a report of smoke on the track at Kilburn which required the suspension of MET and Jubilee services from 0805, fire brigade requested. An initial ride-through failed to locate the issue. LFB attended and traction current off for 20min. Both Lines resumed approx-0910.
A later reoccurrence at Kilburn, which again required fire brigade and traction current off 1255-1320 with MET resuming soon afterwards, required the Jubilee to remain suspended while track inspections took place to fix a defective negative rail ramp, with service restored at 1410.

The S.P.A.D involved a westbound piccadilly line train that the signal went back on.

It wasn’t a reoccurrence of the fire, it was in a different location but both at Kilburn and on a different line-the original being on the Met and the second on the Jub. Both lines impacted due to proximity of tracks when L.F.B taking access.
