Current locations of the Class 99's at 13:00:

99001 - 4L72 East Midlands Gateway - London Gateway. Apparently arrived on 0Z72 Hams Hall - East Midlands Gateway, but no idea how it got from Birch Coppice to Hams Hall since Saturday. Maybe it was on 0L68 Birch Coppice - Hams Hall with 66736??

99002 - Garston. To next work 6L48 Garston - Dagenham.

99003 - Peterborough. Has been here since arriving on 0Z51 on 16/09/26 as far as I know.

99004 - 4M01 London Gateway - East Midlands Gateway. (Assuming RTT is accurate)

99005 - 4M47 London Gateway - Hams Hall. (Assuming RTT is accurate)

99006 - Leicester. Has been here since arriving on 0Z19 on 16/09/26 as far as I know.

99007 - Peterborough. Arrived here on 4H80 from Doncaster yesterday.

99008 - Inverness. Arrived here on 6Z98 on 18/09/26.

99009 - Inverness. Arrived here on 6Z98 on 18/09/26.

99010 - Peterborough. Has been here since arriving on 4H33 on 17/09/26 as far as I know.

99011 - Peterborough. Has been here since arriving on 4H33 on 17/09/26 as far as I know.

99012 - Doncaster Decoy. Has been here since arriving on 6E22 from Old Dalby on 18/09/26 as far as I know.

99013 - Leicester. Has been here since arriving on 0Z19 on 16/09/26 as far as I know.

6E22 Old Dalby - Doncaster Decoy on 18/09/26 was 99007+99012 top and tailed with 4 barrier wagons used for the LUL stock moves leaving Old Dalby. However, I've seen a video of this move in Peterborough yard where one of the 99's had ran around to the front so that both were leading. I believe this was 99007 which had ran around and that's why there was a heavy delay in Peterborough yard. I'm saying all this because it's making me think there was some kind of problem with 99012 which in turn, I'll speculate, could be what's causing the conflicting gen about the identity of the other pair of 99's that will head to Scotland.

I agree with comments upthread - despite TOPS having 57306 on some of the moves, I think 47739 on 10th Sep worked 0E12 to Pboro - 0Z12 March - 6Z12 Pboro - 6M12 Old Dalby - 0E13 Leicester, with photos on Flickr of 47739 solo on 0Z12/6Z12/6M12. Looks like 57306 never left Leicester between arriving on 0M75 04/09 and departing on 0Z38 11/09.
I don't think any other 99s apart from 99013 could have worked 0Z98 / 0E99 on 9th Sep, but can't rule out it being a different class of loco...
After 99012 + 99013 worked 4H33 together to Pboro on 08/09, I think 99012 on 9th Sep worked 0Z64-0Z65-0Z67-0Z07, with photos seen of it solo on 0Z67 and 0Z07. Then on 10th Sep it worked 0Z75 to Down Decoy and 0Z70 back (video of 0Z70 on Youtube) before running to Leicester on 0J03 11th Sep.
Meanwhile 99013 is a likely candidate for 0Z98 / 0E99 9th Sep (can't see any photos though). It then worked 0D30 / 0H31 to Doncaster and back on 11/09 (photo on Facebook of 0D30) and stayed at Pboro until working 4D30 on 14th Sep.

To confirm the Railcam allocation, I found this YouTube short of them at Lincoln heading towards Doncaster on 17/09 (headcode not given but 4D30 ran via ECML so this must be 4D32; freightliner alongside would be 4L87 which passed Lincoln at the same time as 4D32 on TRUST).

99011 and 99010 pass Lincoln on the Peterborough to Doncaster 17/9/26

99012 was in position to lead from Old Dalby on 6E22 - see the video from DestinationTrainPlanes linked in this post:

The delay at Pboro was indeed related to a loco issue, although it's not totally clear which one.
Edit: The intial late start from Old Dalby is also shown as due to a loco issue so it's possible 99012 could have had an issue there before departure.

I can't see any other move it could have run on other than 0L68 - both 66736 and 99001 are shown arriving in Birch Coppice and departing from Hams Hall and it looks like 0L68 was never consisted.

Further to posts 2226 and 2242 99002 was noted at 0910 this morning on 6X41 passing Halewood (Jaguar Land Rover) with its pantograph raised. The train was fully loaded.

They’re on electric - GBRf have the power supply agreement to do this.

It'll be interesting to see if, in the aftermath of disruption, signallers have to start sending out GSM-R messages to instruct all traction capable of diesel or battery power to switch over, of if there will be delays getting people going as the ECOs and the Signallers watch trains through sections. Because presumably at some point there is a hard limit when the breakers will trip if the power drops too low, agreement or not.

Think the sleeper voltage is 900v.

Whilst the older AC stock is 750v.

So if the ETH fitted 99s are to be used on both they will need to have both.

Thank you @Adrian Barr for that post.

Can now 100% confirm 99001 was at Hams Hall at 06:00 on 21/09/26 yesterday. That means it must have worked 0L68 with 66736 and 0Z72 from Hams Hall this morning was correct.

99002 remains on the 6X41/6L48 Dagenham - Garston - Dagenham diagram.

As of 00:10 22/09/26, both 99001 and 99003 are at London Gateway. My guess is a swap is going to happen on one of the diagrams and something else will head north, it therefore might be worth keeping an eye on 4E00 as far as Peterborough this morning (Tuesday).

I believe TOPS was correct yesterday and that 99004 did go to East Midlands Gateway while 99005 went to Hams Hall. It does seem to be hit and miss as to whether or not the data is accurate, but a general pattern (which in itself isn't always followed) does seem to be developing. Loco 1 does 4M01 Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 4M47 Tuesday and Thursday. Loco 2 does 4M47 Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 4M01 Tuesday and Thursday.

99006+99013 are, as of 00:10 22/09/26, the only 99's at Leicester as far as I know. There are numerous paths in/out of Leicester depot today (Tuesday 22/09/26) so we'll see what runs and goes where in due course.

99007, 99010 and 99011 remain at Peterborough as far as I know and haven't moved since the moves stated in post 2254 above.

99008+99009 haven't moved at Inverness since arriving on 6Z98 on 18/09/26 as far as I know.

That leaves 99012 which, given what Adrian said, strengthens my belief it had a problem on 6E22 and that's why it remains at Doncaster currently. Perhaps that will be dragged to Leicester later.

Thank you to everyone who has posted gen in this thread today. If anyone sees any photos or videos of this move then please let me know. I have doubts about whether 69002 was actually involved given that it didn't return north on 0Z70 and there's no obvious onward move for it from Leicester?

99003 is replacing 99002 on the 6X41/6L48 Dagenham - Garston - Dagenham diagram from tomorrow. A path has appeared for it to run from London Gateway to Dagenham this evening.

0J03 London Gateway - Dagenham:

Unclear at the moment what will happen to 99002 when it arrives at Dagenham tonight on 6L48. I'll guess a) VSTP path light engine to London Gateway then north on 4E00 as far as Peterborough tomorrow or b) back north on 6X41 with 99003.

99010+99011 worked all the Peterborough - Doncaster - Peterborough workings today as far as I can tell and 99007 hasn't moved from Peterborough since arriving on 4H80.
