When using a split-ticket, which is used to claim for delay repay?

I'm on 1S45 (Plymouth to Aberdeen) which was delayed due to an earlier service having an aggressive passenger assaulting another passenger and the BTP being called.
As a result, the service ran non-stop from Bristol Parkway to Birmingham New Street with a delay of up to 47mins. They have just announced they are skip-calling between Sheffield and York so I will miss Leeds. If I booked my tickets through this site, do I need to do anything? If I do, which tickets do I submit and which can I expect to have refunds on? The split tickets are:
Bristol TM - Cheltenham,
Cheltenham - Birmingham,
Birmingham - Derby,
Derby - Sheffield,
Sheffield - Leeds.

You claim Delay Repay for the entire journey Bristol-Leeds from the TOC which first delayed you, Cross Country by the sound of it.
You need to make an explicit claim, nothing magical will happen if you don’t.
Based on your actual arrival time in Leeds versus the original booked time.

Thank you. How do I prove I travelled? I had passenger assistance in Bristol who led me through the gate and because we've had several cancellations, the train has been too busy for someone to come round and check tickets. Should I get the guard to scan my tickets?

There is no requirement for you to "prove" you travelled in any particular way. Just submit the claim.

Just claim and keep a record of your train times, eg Realitime Trains. They already know the details.

When you get to Leeds you will need to scan your ticket/e-ticket through the gateline, so it'll at least be recorded there.

You don't need to prove you travelled, if you pre-bought tickets (which with lots of splits is almost certain), rather than on arrival at the station. Then as long as they weren't cancelled and refunded before travel then should be able to claim.

Delay repay isn't blocked because no one did a ticket inspection.

Just to be clear, you claim Delay Repay. Don't confuse delay repay and refund, they are very different things.

Some TOCs will pay out delay repay automatically, but generally only if you booked your ticket direct from their website or app, and generally only for fixed itinerary tickets. And they may not calculate it correctly if you have split tickets, particularly if it involves other TOCs. In such cases, it is still necessary to apply manually.

Most TOCs delay repay sites now allow you to enter the details of each split ticket individually. Those that don't, you just take a picture of all the tickets together, enter the total cost, and the ticket number of one of the tickets.
