EMR Regional and Connect refurbishments

Just seen this service get created, I am presuming that because it is out of Eastcroft and timed for 90mph its a 158, but why's it going to St Plillips March HSTD not Bristol Barton Hill, could it be 158889 going back to SWR already? The service is 5V81 Nottingham Eastcroft -> Phillips Marsh HSTD on Monday 7th.

158780 it's been parked up at Eastcroft for the past two days, next for it's refresh.
Not yet seen a path for 854 to return as of yet.

Not sure I've seen but 170512 returned last week and 513 is now at Crewe.

158785 has been refurbished & repainted & is back in service, saw it on Friday attached to a non repainted one on a Liverpool to Norwich service at Sheffield Station at 12:40pm

Had a very unexpected ride on 360111 today. Very nice seats. Pleased to see type c alongside “old” type a ports and plug sockets everywhere. New seat pitch (or the new geometry) finally allows me to seat on any seat, not just those bay ones facing each other (I am 6’ 4”)

EMR released a promotional video today to mark 25 units across both the Regional and Connect fleets having been fully refurbished. It’s a shame it’s taken them this long because I do feel that they have the smartest looking interiors of all Desiro fleet with these.

Has the PIS screen been changed? It doesn’t look like the original LCD Dot type.

Yes and it looks way better.
And that’s even as someone who hates what they did to the scrolling displays on 805/807/172, etc.

Green flip dot looks quite outdated.

Yes the 360 refurbishment certainly has gone a lot further when compared to refurbishments done to the desiro fleets at other TOCs.

Still not sure why the hand rails around the doors are grey and not purple to match the 170s and 158s but apart from that really impressed with the consistency of refurb across all 3 fleets.
