Fords (shallow rivers and streams that cars drive through)

There's a couple in Ide, near Exeter, most notably this decently long one which I used to cycle up and down with my mates. It's about 80 meters long with a raised walkway (where's the fun in that).

This reminds me of a ford I came across on the edge of Clee St Margaret in Shropshire (not my picture):
