Issues with Worldline TIGER

Over the past two days, there have been issues with Worldline's TIGER system. Yesterday, the service was down for about 20/40 minutes. Today, the service showed 'There is currently no train information available', and then when it came back on, platform alterations were not shown (the original platforms were shown) and services which weren't on time were shown as 'On time'.

I wonder why this keeps happening?

Might have been related to Darwin updates happening at those times.

Do you mean updates to Darwin service or normal train information data updates ? Shouldn't be either of them, train information updated all the time and service updates infrequent and usually done at night.

I think Darwin live departures is broken. Other apps are affected too.

Darwin migrated to a new platform a few weeks ago.

Interesting, thought most timetable apps used Darwin push port getting updates continually. Do you mean tiger forwards requests ?

Worldline also provide the Integrale app for TOCs. For a long time the site has had a header saying that they are aware of the problems and are looking into it. That site can be very slow.

No Darwin updates are frequently done off-peak in office hours. Normally only affects things for 5 minutes or so.

However this doesn’t seem to be the same issue here and there have been more issues with data feeds since the recent data migration to a web-based platform.

Quite a few updates completed at around 10 pm - often jest requiring a system restart.
Thought they'd done quite well with the platform upgrades and all issues sorted a couple of weeks ago. Which data feeds are you referring to ?

There has been quite a few ongoing reliability issues and bugs with the live departures api since Evolution, and I think a few pushport outages too

Prompted me to have a look and do see 2-3 pushport outages but more than 2 weeks ago. Also see one point where Darwin Timetables reporting no platform info. But again was over 2 weeks ago. But cannot say if this causing Worldlines problems.

Yeah, this particular issue isn't necessarily Darwin level. There seemed to be issues with Wordline platform CIS last night shortly before 2100 and our pushport was fine so I could definitely see there being unrelated Worldline issues as well as any continued issues with Darwin Evo
