CrossCountry witholding delay repay from me

Back in June I travelled from Kidderminster to Alton after a trip around the north. I was delayed by over an hour at Leamington Spa and claimed Delay Repay with CrossCountry.

Twice, they have sent me emails claiming a "delay" to my claim and then that "action is required" (I claimed as soon as I got home). This is not acceptable.

Here are the timings, I noted them down on the journey.
KID dep 1451 act 1452
BMS arr 1537 act 1537
BMS dep 1543 act 1544
LMS arr 1619 act 1619
LMS dep 1638 act 1739
RDG arr 1741 act 1905
RDG dep 1754 act 1924
AON arr 1909 act 2042

I am seriously considering writing to my MP.

What action do they say is required?

It appears to be quite clear to me, initial delay was caused by Cross Country at Leamington Spa, therefore claim goes to them.

93 minutes late at final destination

I cannot see why XC are mucking about, and delaying their checks, or what action you can do (assuming you uploaded the tickets)

Did you put whole journey in, from Kidderminster, or incorrectly just the Leamington part. The wording often misleads between intended (full) journey and the part where delayed train occurred

"Unable to find a timetabled journey"

And I did indeed claim from Kidderminster.
Well that isn't action on your part sonthat is a very odd request. Pick up the phone to their customer services instead of farting about waiting months for emails and it'll hopefully be sorted on a phone call.

In the list you've posted in post 1 it reads as if you boarded a train at Reading direct to Alton.

If this is what you provided to CrossCountry this might explain why they can't find a timetabled journey - I'm guessing there was at least one further change of train.

And being a pedant, if you provided them this list, BMS is Bromley South; BMO is Birmingham Moor Street.

Can you please clarify what date in June this was? And if possible do you have a printed itinerary you can post? The delayed train that you caught from Leamington seems to have a timetabled arrival at Reading of 17.44 most days and the train to North Camp from Reading, a scheduled departure time of 17.50. This would invalidate the minimum 7 minute departure time at Reading.

Even if this was the case, it would still have resulted in you reaching Alton 30+ minutes late so Crosscountry should have based delay repay on this.
