Will 'Concrete Bob' 37425 be making the RHTT this year? It was good seeing him around Scotland last year.

At least one pair of 37s on the Yorkshire RHTT this year I read today. 56s/97s on the North Wales circuit. 70s could be used if needed.

Don't know how true this is but ive heard the North Wales circuit will be 97s and 66s this year, meanwhile the 56s will be on the Carstairs and Carlisle diagrams.

Definitely 97s because of the Cambrian Line. 66s is certainly an interesting development. Normally is the 56s however.

I have noticed a lot of leaves on the ground already in some parks. I think the drought has made some trees shed their leaves sooner. It feels sooner ?. So the coming wet and windy weather might be the start of the season.

Heard its 70/56 on the Carstairs diagram this year. No 37425 up in Scotland. 66&97 on diagrams based out of Coleham. York diagrams all 66s apart from the Yorkshire Coast diagram.

What is a 97?
One of Network Rail’s modified locos. Originally was a class 37 (and is pretty much identical) but for the signalling type, it has been modified to work on the Cambrian Coast line and is the only locomotive that can do so (as far as I’m aware).
