I specifically booked the IC225 service to Durham from Kings Cross today because of course I did, far nicer than an Azuma.
Online LNER are just saying some 225 services are cancelled due to the weather, without going into more detail. I have a vague thing in my head they're only rated to 28 degrees or something (heck it was hot enough in an Azuma travelling down yesterday - the coach itself was fine but the solar radiation on the west side meant I was roasting by about Peterborough until I put the blinds down). Is the 1433 (I think it is) likely to run at all, and if so as a 225 or something else?
(My ideal scenario is it runs as a 225, my second best scenario is it is cancelled and I have a free trip and get some interesting meat purchases in. Azuma substitution a distant third!)
