[50002Superb]

47701 should be going to Whitemoor tomorrow and then onto Barrington near Cambridge.

Looked amazing this morning

Missing something like a BR double arrow in the middle(not large logo) or a Scotty Dog if relevant.

2 questions:

• Does anyone know what is hauling the Kings Cross to Berwick charter tomorrow ( Saturday?)
• There is also a 3Z60 Carnforth > Darlington & then a 1Z60 Darlington > Kings Cross tomorrow ( Saturday) - I assume that is a private charter of some sort.

Any info on this and haulage greatly appreciated!

I also caught 37669 in fine form yesterday a couple of times:

[HertiageFan]

Appears to be.

Yes, I have just seen them, 37706 leading, with 47813 assisting from the rear

[37069]

I would imagine it's the same pair on Tuesday on The Dalesman too.

Or at least on the York-Hellifield leg

Monday morning movement

57314 AWCA STHALLOCO 735M43MG24 E * CARNFTHST N

[37069]

I think this is an error on the system and it's more likely to be 57313 (which was at Southall) plus 57601 (which went down with 47746 on the Northern Belle over the weekend). 57314 is at Carnforth.

EDIT - Confirmed here -

[Dave S 56F]

Does anyone know if the Scarborough spa from Lancaster via Blackburn and Wakefield is running if so is it diesel or steam hauled?

[Steam4Max]

I know its the million pound question at the moment, do we think the steam ban will be lifted by the end of the week so Eddystone can run on the 5th? (4th for ECS)

[HertiageFan]

Does anyone know if The East Yorkshireman will be running please? Thank you in advance

Do you know why please? Thank you in advance

Believe either low bookings or it wasn't allowed on the line as they have weight restrictions

[Dave S 56F]

What is hauling the scarborough spa from Lancaster on 2 September tomorrow to Scarborough is it steam or diesel hauled?
Are we still in black fire risk status on the national network for steam locos or has it been reduced to red fire risk after the rain we have been having over last week and the weekend?

No, now rostered for a class 47

[neil65]

I went over to Brighouse this morning to see 'The Scarborough Spa Express' again. It was diesel hauled due to a steam ban at the moment, and it was raining most of the time I was there!!

Anyway it was 37669 T'n'T 47813
