West Coast Mainline stations without fenced off fast platforms

Hello all, I do not often get to travel on the west coast mainline but will have a rare opportunity to do so tomorrow, and was hoping to do some trainspotting on my way into Euston, however I have read a lot of the stations between Bletchley and Euston now have fenced off fast platforms which people are not allowed on. I would be really grateful for information regarding which stations do have a commonly accessible fast platform as I would love to see some 390s and maybe catch the lumo 222s!

The fences are not that high so photographs can easily be taken over the top of them from the accessible (slow line) side of the island.

There are no fences at Milton Keynes Central or Watford Junction. There now are at all other south WCML stations.

Thinking on though you might well get a good view of the fast lines from one of the DC line only Overground stations south of Watford - these have no fast line platforms but also have no fence between their island platform and line and the fast line in some cases. Carpenders Park maybe?

I know you've only mentioned faster services; I'd add that there's the London Northwestern 150s at Bletchley and the Overground and tube stock visible from Watford Junction south (and Chiltern 196s at Milton Keynes Central, but they're harder to time before the day and I don't think the training paths run at all on weekends).

Bushey up fast has no barriers as well. The island platform is shared with the down slow. The benefit of this station is that no fast train will stop* (compared with Milton Keynes & Watford), so you will see more trains at speed.

Remember to stand well away from the edge though!

*except at extreme ends of the day or during disruption.

Currently a 50 speed restriction on all lines about half mile south of Bushey due to a damaged structure.
