I will be in London on Saturday 22nd and using Contactless (Zone 4 cap).

I have my bicycle with me.

To get from Euston to Welling, which might be the best way?

1. From Euston, I cycle to Charing Cross (takes 10 minutes), then get the train to Welling (trains seem hourly only, this would have to be timed right, or I could change at Lewisham).

2. Circle Line eastbound from Euston Square to Monument, bike over London Bridge then get a train to Welling from London Bridge station.

3. Circle Line from Euston Square to Victoria, then a train to Welling. But, If I go eastbound it's a long way from Euston to Victoria, and if I go westbound it seems I'll have to change at Edgware Road.

Go to St Pancras and get on a Thameslink train to London Bridge.

Haywain's suggestion involves the least cycling 'on road' but needs a lift down to the Thameslink platforms.
You might cycle to Charing Cross as you suggest in 1 above, catch any train stopping at London Bridge and change to a Welling train there. (Probably better than at Lewisham?)

Thameslink or cycling to Charing X is probably easiest. Changing at London Bridge is far easier than at Lewisham too.

If you want something frequent, you could take the Elizabeth line from Tottenham Court Road to Woolwich/Abbey Wood and cycle from there.

I was making the wild assumption that they might be able to carry a bike down some stairs. None of the underground options avoid lifts or carrying.

if using option 2 it would probably be better to continue 1 stop to Cannon St and change for a Welling train there.

If going for Haywains suggestion of Thameslink be aware that the lifts at St Pancras are out of use until September

Bit of an uphill climb from Woolwich/Plumstead/Abbey Wood to Welling! (I speak as a former resident of Plumstead and a frequent cyclist in the area in my younger days.)

lugging your bike around on the Underground doesn't sound attractive to me. I've done this journey before, and I'd recommend just cycling from Euston to London Bridge (or Cannon Street, which is on the way to London Bridge - you could make the best decision on where to decamp depending on what time you are in the Cannon St area - trains for Welling leave at xx15/45). Cannon Street is no doubt the easiest option out of all mentioned for getting your bike on the train and is nice and quiet.

Of course if time is not really of the essence, it's an enjoyable cycle and will probably be better on a weekend.
I routinely did KX - London Bridge and was faster than the Underground (with an e-bike)
