Going from Leeds to Leicester.
The first train, 15:45 Northern service from Leeds to Sheffield is cancelled, and i cant go earlier so theres no other service let alone northern that will get me to Sheffield in time for the next train (16:40 EMR service to Nottingham).
Used trainsplit and the filters and found the next best service (in the screenshots) so that i take the 17:32 train though it is direct to leicester.
I assume this is allowed as it is the same TOC even if direct?
Does the separate advance tickets mean i cant find alternative routes? I know with an off peak return i could.
And wondering if i take an earlier train or a train that arrives faster can i catch earlier services of the the same second and third trains or is that not possible?
