West Wales Bus Franchising

After a 2 week holiday in West Wales, specifically Pembrokeshire it got me wondering what the future of the buses look like, i know their is Bus Franchising coming but unless i've missed it (it's gone quite), i'm lead to believe West Wales will be the first place to see Franchising but wanted to know if anyone else had any more information?

Yes, the South West Region - comprising the counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot - will be the first to see its local bus services franchised, planned for September 2027. The North Wales, South East and Mid Wales Regions are due to follow in that order.
