Most from the pool etc have found other jobs since then like at places like GBRF and cross country
EMR has taken far to long clearly no space
I’m also in the Kettering talent pool, since January this year. Last I heard (possibly on this thread) was that they were oversubscribed.
I’m working on the assumption that my 2 years might come and go without a job offer. If I get a call then that will come as a pleasant surprise.

There’s around 8 more currently training waiting for pass out at the minute and a spare link that 4 of them will go in to meaning they will only be spare and cover uncovered jobs as there aren’t enough lines in the roster for the number of drivers they have. 43 drivers currently. Apply everywhere and don’t put all your eggs in one basket is my advice. There are internals in the talent pool who haven’t heard a thing since January either so it looks like the whole pool is in the same boat.

It’s crazy and in that time, I have managed to get a job elsewhere on trains. EMR haven’t done good here

Have been told that there may be courses next year but this year it's not happening... Yes, I had sent an email asking a couple of questions and was told no courses this year, maybe next year, and that they are also planning their 2027 recruitment drive at the moment.Have been told that there may be courses next year but this year it's not happening... Did you get the same?

Does anyone know if it's enhanced or standard pass for the psychometric testing? And if it is enhanced, would the enhanced pass be an extra testing eg the dfft, or would it be a higher mark in 1 or more of the tests? I've never applied to this company before.

Google Maps says I'm anywhere between 40-60mins away from St Pancras depending on the time of day by car. Public transport is pretty consistently just about 45 minutes.
I've put an application in and will see what happens!
Edit: got an email today (13/08) saying I have until the 23rd to complete a 'Task-Based Asssessment'. I wonder if that's automated and everyone gets them or if they've already done a sift based on location?
