That's right, your turn...A random piece of fake latin text used as a place holder / trial text block when typesetting printed documents
Snow?OK here's a really off-the-wall one which you're going to have to try to guess.
in 1971 Yeovil Town FC wore an all-white kit with green trim on the collar.
However for their 3rd round FA cup match against Arsenal this was modified with bright orange socks. Why?
(Clue - the match was delayed from Saturday to the following Wednesday afternoon for weather reasons)
that's why the match was delayed, but it was all brushed away by the wednesdaySnow?
Exactly!
Thank you.Exactly!
The fog was bad enough to make visibility across the pitch very difficult. Curiously the surviving TV film doesn't show how bad it was, but there were periods where you couldn't see the ball at all.
The pitch floodlights might have helped but they weren't used as they didn't meet the required specs.
Your turn
NoStoke-on-Trent?
No but approaching the right area.pet rabbits?
Nothing so intellectual. I'm afraid the connection is, like me, rather low brow.Did they all study the teachings of Gurdieff?
Fripp did at Sherborne house under Bennett
There is an animal connection but not dog.Kept the same breed of dog.
Not cat food but Queens Flash has been used in advertising. Didn’t Clement Freud also do an advert?Something to do with cat food. Robert Fripp wrote Cat Food, Robbie Williams was in a cat food advert. Maybe the Aussie rules bloke was too? No idea about the Queen bit though
Cat food is the answer, the queen being the Queen of Sheba and Sheba is a brand of cat food. Your turn...Something to do with cat food. Robert Fripp wrote Cat Food, Robbie Williams was in a cat food advert. Maybe the Aussie rules bloke was too? No idea about the Queen bit though
No, see above. Not cat food but Queens Flash has been used in advertising. Didn’t Clement Freud also do an advert?
Is it adverts?
Not pet food in general but cat food in particular which is why Clement Freud is not in the group.the Aussie bloke changed his name to "Whiskas" as a publicity stunt for one game so yes it sounds like pet food is the link.
Freud did a series of dog food adverts featuring a basset hound
Daidora?
