Southeastern are aiming to reduce microfleets so the 458 isn't something they'd be looking into especially as it would need work reintroducing doo controls on the cab.I have always thought they would be good for replacing some of South Eastern's outer-suburban Networker diagrams. Or if the "headcode 62" Charing Cross to Gillingham semi-fasts ever came back....
The 458s are also arguably equal or slightly better condition than the networkers they're suppose to be replacing which makes them a poor stop-gap rather than replacement.
