HOTNAT Multiple Changes Question

Please could I ask. I am booked on Eurostar from London to Brussels. Then Eurostar to Cologne. Finally ICE to Hamburg. In theory I have allowed plenty of time for each connection. All trains booked on separate tickets.

If I miss the Eurostar at Brussels because my London to Brussels train was delayed, then will I be able to take a train with a different operator to Cologne. eg ICE train.

If I miss the ICE at Cologne because my London to Brussels train was delayed, then will I be able to take a later train to Hamburg.

Thank you in advance, Stephen.

Brussels and Cologne are both HOTNAT hubs, so you should indeed be covered. In Cologne also the AJC applies.
For this journey, I'd probably just have booked a through ICE ticket Brussels-Hamburg, since that's usually cheaper than splitting it. London-Hamburg from DB might even be cheaper than splitting in Brussels (DB used to have special Eurostar fares).

Thank you your the information. That is reassuring. Hopefully all goes well. I am travelling on to Malmo the next day.

At the time I was booking there I could not book DB from Brussels to Cologne. On the day I wanted they would not sell me a ticket. I think there was some question over track works. It was fine on dates either side.
