19189 has gone back to Scunthorpe, assume it was here for MOT

I sadly missed my chance at getting pictures of its visit so this will just be a message only post

Went down to Mansfield Depot, and 19209 is not back, so that rules out pickups. The MOT is valid until 21 August 2026, which again rules out the MOT. So I'm not too sure what it can be.

10896 has transferred to Gainsborough probably as on bus times you can see it.
I wouldnt trust that because the tracking data is dodgy

For example if you zoom in at a point in Retford, you see 12:57, which is the same time it was last tracked in Grimsby

Now unless you teleport, its impossible to get there that fast

I would assume a mistrack until proven otherwise.

Surely Thats a mistrack?

More than likely yes

The tracking doesnt add up

Would they carry on repairing them and sending out or would they give up and withdrawn them 2 and 21269 hasn't ran since 15th July.
I'm not on the inside and no expert, but based on previous observations of will probably depend on a few things: 1) the nature of the fault they broke down with; 2) how short of buses are they; 3) local schools finish for summer tomorrow, reducing Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR).

Depending on the answers to the first two, if they can manage today and tomorrow without them, repairing them could very well be a lower priority based on the third. After that, it will depend on how the summer goes (if more buses break down/need bigger maintenance jobs etc.), and how long it's expected to be until any rumoured replacements become a reality.

Apparently be done within 2 weeks there is something about it on Hull council roadworks page
Not sure if already posted here, but:

Well, I went by Foster Street that Monday the 13th, no sign of any roadworks. Went by again twice yesterday, still no sign!
IMG_3144.jpeg

Pushed back a third time, by all accounts? There's nothing on last week's weekly roadwork update concerning Stoneferry Road…

When I went past last Wednesday they had removed a piece of fence and some work was going on but there was no lane closure. When I went past yesterday the fence had been put back in and no work was going on.

Had MOT today at Hull. I would expect it has probably had some work done on it with it arriving last week and normally Mansfield vehicles would have MOTs done at Mansfield so seems unusual to just come to Hull for MOT.

Yeah, it does seem odd that it travelled to Hull for an MOT, considering this bus wasn't planned to even go past October and hasn't had any new technologies installed on it, which by law need NSA/screens installed by October 1st, which they didn't plan for. I do have some theories on what it could be.

Theory 1: It travelled all the way to Hull for major repairs, where it also had its MOT completed. The bus was known for blowing smoke from the exhaust, which needed to be repaired, and it may also be refurbished while it is there since Hull/Lincoln/Workshop is the only place that can do refurbishment. I think this is a possibility because Stagecoach has previously sent buses requiring major work to Hull. For example, after 11682 (YX73 OWU) was involved in a crash in Mansfield, it was sent to Hull for repairs and returned in the new livery following refurbishment.

Theory 2: It has been sent to Hull either as a temporary bus loan or to have new technologies installed on it so it can go past October.

Theory 3: It was only a temporary loan to Mansfield to begin with, so it might be going to Hull for a full refurbishment and will shortly be allocated to a different depot.

Not sure if this would really matter in this case, but it seems Stagecoach is starting to repaint any "Stagecoach Interconnect (Old)" vehicles into the "Stagecoach, We Got You" livery, with 15808 (FX12 BAV) being a prime example. 11742 (YX73 OXZ) was repainted from "Stagecoach Local" to "Stagecoach Interconnect (New)" not long ago, and now it seems like they are starting to abandon the idea of "Stagecoach Interconnect (New)". It also seems that there has been a sudden burst of "Stagecoach Interconnect" vehicles that have stopped tracking around July.
  • 11742 (Reg: YX73 OXZ) - Last tracked: 15 Jul
  • 15510 (Reg: FX09 DAA) - Last tracked: 17 Jul

The 15 July was a tracking error as it had a bad accident end of June and came to Hull for repairs. It will be interesting if it gets repainted back into Interconnect or gets put in Steel Blue.

You're right about the weird tracking that's on me. I never double-checked the tracking data from my scraping tool. I feel like it will be put into "Stagecoach, We've got you" livery mostly since Hull doesn't seem to care about the branding of the bus, and if it needs to be repainted, they won't repaint it into new branding but instead into "Stagecoach, We've got you." For example, 10734 (SN66 VXB) was in the Pride livery, and it needed updating since some of the panels were changed, instead of changing it to Pride livery, they just fully repainted it to "Stagecoach, We've got you".

I have noticed that

Enviro400EVs
80294 SN26YCA
80296 SN26YCC
80298 SN26YCF
80299 SN26YCG
80300 SN26YCH
80301 SN26YCJ
80302 SN26YCK
80303 SN26YCL
80305 SN26YCO
80306 SN26YCP
80307 SN26YCR
80309 SN26YCT
80310 SN26YCU
80311 SN26YCV
80312 SN26YCW

Yutong E10s
63151 YK26KXU
63152 YK26KXV
63153 YK26KXW
63154 YK26KXX
63155 YK26KXY
63156 YK26KXZ
63157 YK26KYA
are all due to be registered from the 3rd August.

So that means all the E10s and all local liveried Enviro400EVs will be registered and looks like they may launch in to service from the 3rd August.

Also 10971 has been repainted into the new we've got you pride livery

I think they must have some power as I sure someone mentioned they had two chargers working last week. Not seen any E12s but there is another steel blue Enviro400EV in the depot that has been against the fence (can be seen in Hullian111’s photo above) for at least a week but unsure which one as I can’t see a number on the back and it is missing its rear number plate. Also not been any Enviro400EVs out in service in over a week just mainly 2 of the 3 currently registered E10s.
