More signalling issues between Cambridge and Ely.
There were issues of some sort this morning too, though with minimal delays - I was on the 0946 Ely->KGX and we were held before the bridge over the Ouse by Pope's Corner before proceeding very slowly over the bridge. There was at least one guy in orange at lineside. Maybe linked to the issues this evening, or maybe not.

Clearly if FCC was still running things today, they'd have had all the same issues due to the massive upheaval of the timetable and so many more trains running with tight timings.
They'd have the same congestion issues, but maybe they'd be better at working out how to recover from disruption, or maintenance of the trains (1T48 tonight was 4 carriages rather than 12, again...), or being diligent about doing everything to make sure last services run, or not locking people out of their delay repay system due to the system itself not being able to believe how bad the service has been recently. (I see the Kings Lynn MP is currently sparring with GN on Twitter over the last of those). Certainly it is hard to see anyone doing worse than GN are doing right now, even if you were deliberately trying...
