May 1979 Timetable

Bit of a long shot question:

During the period of the May 1979 timetable, the 19.28 SO Inverness to Euston sleeper service, designated as such in the GBTT - but crucially NOT shown as 'sleeper accommodation only', so am assuming there was a degree of seated accommodation, even if just one coach?
Does anyone have any info that might confirm the planned formation for this train at the time?

Don't have 1979 marshalling book but in 1978 and 1980 it attached to the Perth to Euston sleeper at Perth the vehicles from Inverness being identical in both of 1978 and 1980, so were likely exactly the same in 1979:

CK, SK, 3 TSO, NDV

Thanks. That's interesting (for me), given it was more than one coach (other than sleeper cars).

Being a tad cheeky now, don't suppose you have (access to) the same formation info - as in ALL vehicles, sleepers included - for the 22.50 SO (Sleeper only) Glasgow Cen to Euston for the same period?

Not a problem.

Just to clarify, definitely 2250 Saturdays Only?

I ask as while I do see a 2250 departure in both years, there's no Saturdays Only option - it's down as Mondays to Saturdays inclusive.

You are quite correct (M-S), it was just that it was a SO that I was interested in.
