Apparently spectators are being told to use scheduled First Glasgow buses at normal fares - no free travel for ticket holders

It is a very much reduced Games, and I'm not aware of any special bus services being provided for spectators. They are generally being advised to travel to the venues (none of which have high capacities) on the existing scheduled bus and train routes.

First's involvement is mentioned on a press release - specifically:

As the UK's leading provider of fully managed ground transport, FTS will play a vital role in helping deliver safe, reliable and sustainable transport services for athletes, officials and the wider Games Family throughout the event.

So nothing special for the public, but there will be special buses.

Aberdeen’s Electroliners are reportedly being used. First will no doubt try and use their newest buses - ie the E400EVs/E200EVs/repowered Electroliners.

Definitely are far smaller scale than the original games in 2014 which coincided with lots of new E400s, E200s and Streetlites.

Given that the games are due to start in over 100 days time. Do we know if there is going to dedicated shuttle buses for the games or will people travel on existing services to the venues. Can't seem to find any information regarding public transport for the games in Glasgow anywhere so far.
