Just spent a couple of days in Suffolk, Borderbus have timetables available in racks onboard buses. First's Ipswich travel shop has A4 print outs of timetables available.

I got this from Chorley bus station.View attachment 205798
Hit or miss with Lancashire Bus Stations and timetables. Lancaster had some of these green bus guides out on display with Stagecoach timetables. Passed through Chorley but never seen any timetables out.

Picked up a Stagecoach guide to Bedford, more of an overview than full timetables.

They are available from the information desk at Chorley Bus Station. Lancashire C.C. now only publish the subsidised services in paper form. I don't know what they will do with the 109 Preston to Chorley via Leyland service which is now run as a commercial service Mondays to Saturdays by Stagecoach and as a subsidised service on Sundays and Bank Holidays by Vision Bus.

Although back in December @Bedford OB listed Sanders as a company still issuing paper tt s I had not seen any for some time. There I was pleased when I caught a coast hopper bus this afternoon to see new leaflets in a rack on the Sanders bus for the coast hopper and the 44 series of buses.

I can assure you that Sanders have continued to issue a steady volume of paper timetable material for their services. Of late, this has included a total of nine leaflets or booklets dated 24 May 2026; also a new leaflet for the Sainsbury's free services acquired from Semmence.
In the same area, a new comprehensive book was also issued by Lynx from 1 June 2026.
Again in that area, First ECOC has issued two very high quality multifolds - for the Coastal Clipper dated 2 May 2026 and the Norwich Sightseeing Service dated 23 May 2026.
Transport Made Simple businesses have issued a number of different items, including a sizeable book with all of the Konectbus service updates from 12 April 2026. There was also a booklet for Central Connect Cambridge service 100 from 5 Jan 2026.

Barrow area guide from Stagecoach at Barrow Railway Station. Do Cumberland or Westmorland publish any guides?

There's the 'The Lakes by Bus' timetable booklet available once again for Summer 2026. Covers most of Central Lakeland area. Mostly it's Stagecoach buses that seem to be listed. See pic.

Not sure if it has been mentioned already, but I belive Lloyd's Coaches in north/mid Wales are producing a combined paper timetable and guide for Summer. Looking at it online, it's a superb publication!

Very good to see there is a further new set of the excellent HarBus comprehensive bus timetables for areas of North Yorkshire, all multifolds produced to a high standard in colour on glossy paper. All dated either 3 or 5 April 2026, there are five area productions -
  • Northallerton, Bedale and Masham
  • Richmond, Catterick Garrison and Swaledale
  • Stokesley and Great Ayton
  • Thirsk and Easingwold
  • Wensleydale and Swaledale
I had no difficulty obtaining a set while in the area last week. Up to date versions are also maintained on the web site www.harbus.org.uk.

They are excellent. Between them and Dales Bus, we are very well provided for despite North Yorkshire Councils complete lack of interest in timetables.

Out of curiosity, where did you pick up the Stokesley and Great Ayton ones?

A large timetable from Stagecoach for Derbyshire Summer 26 is available to pick up, besides Stagecoach services there are timetables for all other operators as well, a pull out map at the back & a bit about some destinations at the front.

Pick up leaflets with timetable & maps for High Peak TransPeak as well on their buses

Pulham‘s coaches still seem to do paper timetables for most routes. The “proper” glossy booklet/fold out sheet type as well (not just sheets of A4).

Oxford Gloucester Green Bus Station has some Pulham's timetables.

I've seen a large pile at Sheffield Interchange and a few at Buxton train station this week. It's very nicely presented, not entirely clear who's funding though - the design is clearly Stagecoach but the branding and wording seem to avoid giving that impression.

Do Derbyshire still print their own timetable books? I remember having to pay for them at Chesterfield library when I lived there

And that is it, the East Scotland service changes took place today and that was your last chance to grab stuff from stuff that has been left. It also appears Citylink has stopped producing its timetables from this year. Mcgill do still print them but as said you have to go looking for them or pick them up on the bus from of the drivers etc.

Scotland is a bit of printed timetable desert. I have noticed Citylink have stopped printing timetables, none in Buchanan Bus Station apart from information leaflet.

McGills East Scotland timetables are often found at Stirling Bus Station. Never found McGills West timetables, apparently on the buses.

JMB Travel still print timetables for X1 and a few other routes.

I wonder how long will Lothian print route maps and Lothian Country/East Coast timetables.

Borders buses printed timetables for the X95 and X62, would be nice if West Coast motors had some printed timetables and up to date route maps.

There is still a place for printed route and timetable guides for tourists in Scotland but its such a vast area compared to bits of England such as Cumbria.

Picked up a copy of a bus at Corwen a few weeks ago. I do love a route map.

First here have printed a summer timetable!

It's 88 glossy pages. Which is great to see, except... the X52 doesn't go to Axminster. How this got through their quality control...

Is it an upcoming change? Or should it split and have an X51 or X53 continuing?

The X52 is just Weymouth - Bridport. There will be a service to Lyme Regis/Axminster at the times shown, but it won't be an X52, it will be X51 or X53.

So passengers not expecting to change buses will have to change, and of course pay another £3 if they are going beyond Bridport.
