And in probably unsurprising news, Fly Doncaster have revised passenger projections by 2037 down to less than half of what they'd originally said. Their original projections were 2.5m (clearly a fantasy plucked out of thin air number) down to 1.1 mn. The council's own figures for break even were 1.9 million a year, so they've now basically admitted that the airport has no chance of being profitable for probably nearly 20yrs, if ever. Never mind, it's only council taxpayers' money...
