The windows look strange and unfinished to me. It looks like they are missing a layer on the outside. I am hoping this is not an equivalent of quick release windows.

They weren't tracking on 'BusTimes' yesterday or on Tuesday, but seem to be now.

Backwards step. I have never understood making a high specification bus and then cheaping on the structural integrity.
As seen with quick release, it will cause leaks, rattles, and poor insulation. At least it is a visual improvement over gasket...
According to an FOI request Arriva will still keep running these services… somehow with no garage

Whilst they are tracking on the 82s & 86s, they are not tracking on the 10As yet.

Unless Arriva are thinking of opening a depot around the Ormskirk/Skelmersdale area like they used to I struggle to think how they would run them.

I'd imagine an outstation (rather than a garage) of Runcorn.
Given that Sefton franchising isn't taking place until next year, is it possible the reply to the FOI may have mistakenly interpreted the questions as Arriva will still be running these services at least until further notice regardless after phase 1.
On the other hand, if only there was a Merseyside independent with a depot within a stones throw away from Canning Road depot who isn't planning on continuing services due to retirement...
This request explicitly mentioned Tranche 2 and it stated that Arriva wish to continue running them so I don’t think that’s happened.

Not sure if there's been a post of known orders so what's known to be either on order/delivered/stored listed below.....which amounts to 327 buses
58 E400EV - Gillmoss (Stagecoach 80501-80558)
50 Wright Electroliner - Gillmoss (Stagecoach 82401-82450) - some in service as of this week
110 Wright Ultroliner - St Helens (Stagecoach 18931-18990) & Birkenhead (Go North West 3701-3750)
109 E200MMC - St Helens (Stagecoach 37634-37646 (9m) & 37651-37683 (10.8m)) & Birkenhead (Go North West 4301 upwards - exact amounts/lengths unknown at present)
In addition, the 20 E400FCEV are to be converted to electric (Arriva Merseyside 4900-4909 & Stagecoach 89001-89010)

Plus another 14 E400MMCs transferring to St. Helens from Gillmoss. I know they're not brand new but an employee from Arriva confirmed it to me the other day.

Apparently they're going to be backups incase something goes wrong with the Streetdecks or unless the Streetdecks go on loan or covering for an event.

Seems a waste if they're just going for backup only, allocate them to the 320/352 routes.

With Gillmoss (or the old P&R opposite) being used to store the new vehicles for St Helens, the location for where the Go North West ones for Birkenhead was unknown, however from this video on Youtube, there's a load of the Wirral bound E200MMC's (Go North West 43** fleetnumbers) stored in a yard near Widnes.....

I’ve seen the same video, I heard it was somewhere in Ellesmere Port but none of Wirral deckers have arrived yet as local lad on facebook goes Birkenhead’s docks each day to photograph

To be honest G2E Media is decent put a coment on the youtube video and he will do it

Really seems to be a downgraded with this newer livery, its definitely less coordinated
That would be me, just go past to see if anything new comes in be it local buses or ones for other areas.
